Okay, taking this green thing at face value, the first question that comes to my mind is: "How much do we have to work with?"
If you go completely sustainable how much energy is available? And what does that mean in terms of daily life?
So:
Total Sunlight Reaching Earth / Number of People on Earth = Energy per person.
Max available energy: Solar Irradiance solar constant,740×10to the 17th Watts (yearly average for Earth's cross section) (per wikipedia).
Population:6.7 billion (per wikipedia).
So:
740/6.7=110
17-9=8
110 x 10 to the 8th or 11 gigawats per year per person.
I divide that by 25000w which wikipedia gives as equivalent to one car engine's output and we get 441791.
One fair share = ~44,000 Celicas
Who's share? Yours or mine?
Whose "fair"? Yours or mine?
